Somnowell Sleep Appliances - Sleep Well

Custom made sleep appliances, for a lifetime of good sleep

If you ever find yourself suffering from snoring, sleep apnea or with tooth grinding then there may now be a solution.

Somnowell appliances are state of the art chrome appliances worn in the mouth, that helps to hold your mouth in a comfortable position whilst preventing any disruptive conditions from occurring.

Designed by a clinical consultant with over 30 years of experience, Somnowell anti-snoring and sleep apnoea sleep appliances are tailor-made to your mouth and from medical alloys to provide a lifetime solution to snoring, sleep apnea and teeth grinding.

They are also designed to be slimline, comfortable hygienic and most importantly, long lasting to serve you for a lifetime.

How Does It Work?

The sleep appliance works by keeping your airways open and restricting your tongue and soft tissues from obstructing them. This works by holding the lower jaw and tongue in the "recovery position" while you sleep, without being uncomfortable.

This works to prevent conditions such and snoring and the gentle pressure can help to reduce the effects of tooth grinding and bruxism.

How Comfortable Is It?

The Somnowell sleep appliance is custom made to fit your mouth and is designed to be strong whilst maintaining a low profile. The majority of wearers continue to use the sleep appliance every night with no problems.

It is created from cobalt chrome and tailored to meet your specific needs. Being made from a metal alloy the device is strong and outperforms all other plastic devices available, whilst being impervious to bacteria and being easy to clean.

Is Treatment Necessary?

Snoring and sleep apnoea can not only cause a disrupted nights sleep for you but also the others around you. Social consequences can often be very distressing, being unable to sleep in the same room with a partner or unable to fall asleep on public transport for fear of embarrassment.

For those with obstructive sleep apnoea, the need for a solution and treatment is all the more essential, helping you to get a full night of uninterrupted sleep.

Does It Work?

98% of patients have reported an overall success in their treatment with the Somnowell sleep appliance. 83% have found themselves having a better nights sleep, with 51% having more energy in their day to day activities.

Due to the small and discreet nature of the device, patients find it easier to wear and more comfortable than similar plastic devices. This results in more use and therefore a more effective treatment.
